Amazing weekend from start to finish. Super friendly welcome and advice on local activities from Alex in reception. We forgot a few items including tent pegs which when you are camping is obviously a bit of a stupid thing to forget! But Alex helped us out as they have a small accessory shop in reception and he was great at directing us to other camping suppliers for other things. Loads to do nearby with craft shops. mini brewery, play area in the well run friendly bar with Lopez and his lovely wife who do the best Sangria ever! Reasonably priced food & drinks and children were really welcomed. Do try the Bistro for your dinner it was a really relaxed atmosphere and real home made food. Toilet/shower facilities were immaculate, warm and well lit at night as was the whole area. Felt secure and relaxed. loads of space for the kids to play frisbee and football. Cant wait to return. Highly recommended, thank you to all the staff.

We stayed over Easter bank holiday,Lady heyes is a lovely site the shower/toilet block are lovely and clean and well maintained the underfloor heating is great which was a real bonus as it was a bit chilly over Easter...the site was great for the children as there was a little fair onsite over the weekend, the craft shop's are great to look round and the clubhouse is a bonus the children enjoyed the little play area in there kept them entertained whilst we had a sit down..this was our first camping trip to Lady Heyes and it won't be the last,Other site's will have a lot to live up to as this one is top notch I have recommened this site to friends and we will be booking again to come back...the only thing which i can say which was a bit negative is the noise from the large fridge in the oppersite field but i do believe this is hopefully going soon, so next time we come it will be even more nice and peaceful...hopefully see you soon....

Stayed 9th april to 13th april and found the site to be excellent. we have two kids 6 and 3 and the field was large enough to loose our 6 year old lad to for many hours of football. our three year old enjoyed getting filthy in the sand pit and the kids as always made friends very quickly. the site itself is well laid out and quiet. i couldnt hear any road noise as previously reported and the odd plane heading into liverpool was no issue. this site is two minutes from the town centre with everything you need and 40 minutes from chester zoo and liverpool which we visited. chester itself was great and despite the bad weather we took seats in an irish pub and waited out the worst of the weather. There was also a lot to do just off site at the craft centre with a sweet shop, bistro, brewery, play barn, book store and much more. In summary a very good central site, very clean and with a little more development of the kids area this would be even better.

Great site, and apparently getting better if thats possible. The Manager, Alex cant do enough to help. We stayed the first weekend of March. The toilets / shower block is the best i have EVER seen!! Under floor heating since when do you get this on a camp site??!!! Amazing in a campsite. Immaculately clean. They had almost finished building a childrens outdoor play area, i was told its based around a pirate boat theme but it looked more like castles to me, but then it wasnt finished. Sandpit in it, play house, turrets.... my children (4 &5) were extremely happy, I hardly saw them! Theres an on site club house bar - ony very small - but the bonus is for children theres an indoor play area in here. So a nice G & T early evening, kids ahppy playing then to bed = all happy :)Theres some form of micro brewery thing going on, we didnt sample it but others did and reported it being good. Theres also craft places just next to the site which we were going to explore but to be honest the weather was so fab we didnt get round to it. Next time. Its 5 mins max from Delamere Forest which has sooo much on to do.
